It's refreshing to read a criticism of the president that's actually thought out instead of hearsay.

As far as gopher, I wouldn't waste any breath trying to reason with her. Her entire life seems to revolve around razzing Steve Gaines, and she's taken stalking to new (and embarrassing) heights. The consensus at church is that she's a teenager whose parents won't leave, but I suspect some sort of obsessive disorder.

Regardless, we're all hoping that whatever her issues are that God will set her free and she'll be able to center her life on something more worthwhile.solomonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16233693177785852232noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33993370.post-12162928823131450032009-05-13T11:03:00.000-05:002009-05-13T11:03:00.000-05:00Goph (and may I call you Goph?), did you enjoy you...Goph (and may I call you Goph?), did you enjoy yourself?

I appreciate the time and effort you must have expended to pull in all those quotes. They don't at all match up with the available facts, but I hope the improvement in your cutting-and-pasting skills serves you well later in life.

The phrase "non-Christian dictator" is self-explanatory. However, I don't mind reiterating the basic facts.

1) Obama has denied the exclusivity of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. His belief in "many paths," among other diminutions of the faith, is categorically non-Christian.

2) Obama has stated his desire to implement a number of statist, dictatorial policies. Among them, they include the forced redistribution of wealth as well as federal control over salaries, over production, over financial activity, and health care.

He advocates the establishment of a "civilian national security force" which will rival the total scope of the American military; at last count, active-duty and reserve personnel total around 2.3 million people, with an expenditure of over $600 billion per year.

If you're at all a student of history, you are no doubt aware that dictators can be democratically elected; names like Mugabe and Chavez come to mind, if you're of a mind to research the phenomenon.

Ah, but I see that you're not really concerned about the nascent Obama dictatorship as much as about talking about a former pastor of mine and lying about me.

Imagine that.

Since you're lying about what you say I've done at Bellevue, whoever you are, I suggest you add to your research an in-depth study of the concept of irony. While I pray they don't, the words of Jesus you used so ineptly just might boomerang on you.

I also suggest you read the article prior to my National Day of Prayer piece. Accountability can be quite a shock to folks who behave as you do.

--MikeMike Brattonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13145152348285384619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33993370.post-74021176141448849202009-05-12T23:05:00.000-05:002009-05-12T23:05:00.000-05:00"President Barack Obama ... non-Christian dictator..."President Barack Obama ... non-Christian dictator"

"Our law is by definition a codification of morality, much of it grounded
in the Judeo-Christian tradition." -Barack Obama Jun. 28, 2006

"President Barack Obama ... non-Christian dictator"

"Our government should work for us, not against us" -BARACK OBAMA, DNC speech, Aug. 28, 2008

"President Barack Obama ... non-Christian dictator"

Nothing can stand in the way of the power of millions of voices calling for change.

-Barack Obama, speech, Jan. 8, 2008

"President Barack Obama ... non-Christian dictator"

"Secularists are wrong when they ask believers to leave
their religion at the door before entering into the public square." -Barack Obama, 2006

"President Barack Obama ... non-Christian dictator"

I just can't over it, Your strong and insightful thoughts:

"President Barack Obama ... non-Christian dictator"

I'm just so amazed that you can see this...

"President Barack Obama ... non-Christian dictator"

Mike Bratton is saying...

"President Barack Obama ... non-Christian dictator"

But wait...the majority of the Voters elected Obama.

And the majority rules .... right?

Barack Obama is our President and our Anointed Leader

Does Mike Bratton join disgruntled bloggers against the Anointed?

The majority voted for "Change," and change makes some uncomfortable.

So if you don't like the "new direction" under our New Leader,

You should quit complaining and move your citizenship to another country

With your disruptive presence, our National Unity will be compromised and our Enemies will be emboldened.

In fact a Mega Pastor, Steve Gaines, said that we as Christians are never to speak negatively about our Politicians

When dictators took over your church, you sided with "change" and helped to "purge" members.

Now that your country is "taken over," you should either shut up or leave as you have told so many others.

"For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned." -Matthew 12:37gopherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08248697714473635198noreply@blogger.com
